- The 2nd annual Tiffin Art Guild Photo Prize and Show
Come see some of the work from northwest and north central Ohio’s photographers. There will be a grand opening and celebration awards reception at 6:30 pm in the Tiffin Art Guild Art Gallery. - General Membership Breakfast: Bridges Community Academy – A New Educational Initiative
7:30am Bridges Community Academy is planning to introduce a new and innovative model of education that is being used across the country in 86 different sites in 16 states. This model will increase the skills of Bridges educators to better prepare students for today’s workforce by developing essential skills in teamwork, critical thinking, problem solving, technology use, collaboration and communication. In the New Tech Network, schools are modeled on the highly functional modern office—learning occurs in small groups via projects aligned to curriculum standards, solving real world problems. Starting at 8:00 am the walk will last about 1 1/2 hours and qualifies for the walking stick program. Bring binoculars and field guides to help search for sights and sounds of wildlife.
