The Seneca Regional Chamber of Commerce presents Breakfast with State Auditor Dave Yost. Auditor Yost will discuss the responsibilities of the Auditor of State, as well as shared services and open government. He will also discuss the work the auditor’s office is conducting with Performance Audits to assist local governments in saving money and operating more efficiently. The breakfast will be held at Camden Falls on Tuesday, May 1, at 7:30 a.m. The cost is $10 for Chamber members and $15 for non Chamber members. - “Nifty 50″ luncheon theme
"Celebrating 50" is the theme of a May 2 luncheon, card party, bingo, bake sale and raffle, sponsored by the St. Francis Home Auxiliary. The doors open at 10:30 a.m., with lunch served at noon in Elizabeth Schafer Auditorium, 190 St. Francis Ave. Tickets can be purchased at the front desk of the St. Francis Home or at the door at a cost of $7 per person. Proceeds from the event are to be used to benefit the residents of the home. - Bingo

The Tiffin Art Guild has added a new class. "Unleash Your Creativity," slated for 7-9 p.m. May 3 at the gallery, 178 S. Washington St. Tiffin. Instructor Emily Bisignano is to help participants to get out of their creative ruts and do something new. The registration fee of $5 is due at the time of class. - Deadline Nears for Crafters and Artist to be at Festival
St. Mary Festival is seeking local vendors for a craft show 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. June 3 in conjunction with the church's festival. Only handcrafted products are to be permitted (no buy/resale items). Booth space is 10 feet by 10 feet inside the St. Mary School building and 12 feet by 12 feet outside along the perimeter of the school, 75 N. Sandusky St. Spaces are to be assigned in order of payment received. Confirmation letters are to be sent by email with a map and details regarding show set-up. Set-up can begin at 8 a.m. June 3.
Artists/crafters are to provide their own tables, set-up equipment, canopy, etc. St. Mary would supply the space. The cost is $35 pers pace outdoors and $50 per space indoors. Celebrate a traditional Derby style lunch which will include famous "Kentucky Hot Browns", accompanied by delectable side dishes and topped off with Kentucky Derby Pie. As part of the opening weekend of Mad River & NPK Railroad Museum's 37th year there will be a meet and greet the author book signing. Meet Bellevue native and Mad River & NKP RR Society member, Charles W. Wise as he presents his first publication. This is the most comprehensive history of the Mad River Railroad ever published, focusing on the territory between Sandusky and Tiffin, Ohio. This book will be on sale in the Trackside Gift Shop, cost is $20 for non-members and $18 for members, which includes tax. The program is open to all community members, health care proffesionals and anyone interested in becoming a patient /family care volunteer for Stein Hospice.
