Nancy Brose opened Country Crafts in 2003. Country Crafts is a home based business that makes delicious baked goods and dog treats. “My baked goods include: specialty breads, cookies, pies and muffins. The ingredients include locally produced honey, eggs and fruit. I make my own peanut butter so it is fresh and free of salt, sugar and preservatives. I bake my dog treats using broth from boiling beef bones and chicken, and making Gluten free dog treats by grinding brown rice using cage free chicken eggs, using no salt or sugar or preservatives. I try not to use any dough conditioners or preservatives. Some specialty breads have special grains that I grind into flour. I also grind cheese, Amish made cheeses to use in some varieties of bread.”

On Pointe is a new dance studio located in Bodyworks. On Pointe offers dance classes for ages 3 to 18. They accept dancers of all levels. Classes offered are ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, and hip-hop.
Vicky Boehler, owner and founder, along with her two daughters, Brooklyn and Kaitlyn, are excited to see the company develop. The studio will incorporate educational learning during class for younger students, as well as add the personal touch that people are looking for in a small town.

Bolte Real Estate
Rene Bolte Stine and Phillip Stine, Owners
23 S. Washington St.
Tiffin, Ohio 44883
When Ann Bolte founded Bolte Real Estate in 1936 she wasn’t deterred by the fact that she was without female peers in the profession. Rather her unique distinction as the first female real estate agent in Ohio made her more determined to build a successful business in the Port Clinton, Catabawa and Marblehead region. Ann’s business plan was simple and straightforward: to offer excellent customer service and a commitment to serving the needs of her clients.
Almost eight decades and four generations later, the legacy of Bolte Real Estate is stronger than ever. With offices in Port Clinton, Clyde, Fremont, Catawba and Tiffin, the company has grown to become the largest independent brokerage in North Central Ohio. Ann’s original vision has been continued over the years by her son, Gene, her brother, John Drusbacky and granddaughter Cindy. Since the beginning, it has remained a family business.
Today, Bolte Real Estate is owned and operated by Ann’s great grandchildren, Phillip Bolte and Renee Bolte-Stine who purchased the company in 2014. They have built a state-of-the-art real estate company while maintaining the family heritage, recruiting top agents throughout the north coast area and providing a distinctive personal approach to their business.
