I am Kristina Willoughby, an Account Executive with Schaffner Publications Incorporated (SPI), a communications company, providing current information for over 30 years. I oversee accounts for both The Beacon, a free weekly local newspaper for the general public and the North Coast Business Journal, a monthly publication that bridges the gap between Toledo, Cleveland and Columbus business worlds.
Born and raised in Port Clinton, Ohio, I bought a house in the same neighborhood I grew up in and my children attend the same schools that I did growing up. I love every part about living here, hence being mindful of the small business communities. We, on our own, are only one intricate part of this amazing Northern Central portion of Ohio but together there are infinite possibilities.
With all of the roadwork and construction that has been taking place this summer, we would like to extend a thank-you to everyone who has continued to support local businesses affected by construction!
During the month of August, we encourage you to visit our local flea and farmers markets! In the meantime, mark your calendars: the weekends of September 10 - 11 and 16 -18 are filled with great community events that will draw crowds from not only Seneca County, but also surrounding areas!
Do you know anyone who has achieved success in their professional career? Who has dedicated their time and effort to improve the quality of life for others within the community? Who has demonstrated high ethical and moral standards, and who works to help others achieve? If you know anyone who meets these criteria, we encourage you to nominate them for the Outstanding Citizenship Award, or the Women’s Career Excellence Award!
